It was of course lucky for our bride and groom! On Friday 13th we had a wedding to attend, and what a lovely day it was to have a wedding! The lake at Minstrel Court glistened as the sun reflected off of it.
After the ceremony took place, the guests were treated to a selection of canapés which were:
• Crisps with a selection of dips
• Mini quiches
• Feta cheese and cherry tomato sticks
Which went down a treat with some bucks fizz!
After everyone had mingled and photos had been taken, the guests made there way into the marquee for the 2 course sit down meal. For starters everyone had a creamy mushroom soup served with a basket of bread for the table to share, and for mains, pepper Wellington with homemade tomato sauce and vegetables. We cater for all dietary requirements.
Whilst we were setting up the dessert buffet table, the guests were treated to a bouncy castle which was taken over by the younger generation of guests and live music.
The dessert buffet consisted of a wide range of cakes, chocolate, fudge, Victoria sponge etc. and even our infamous profiteroles! As well as some sandwiches and a table for the special dietary requirements. We served tea and coffee on a table with a knitted bride and groom with a selection of knitted sweets to match which were beautifully made.
Live music was played throughout the buffet and silly hats and wigs were worn whilst the photos were being taken – that will be an interesting wedding memory album!
The bride looked lovely and elegant in a straight down floor length silk dress and the groom looked handsome in his suit with a waistcoat to match.
