Alice Hulford and Karl Lee were married at the beautiful venue of Barley Town House near to their home in Great Chishall.

It is also very near to Bigday Caterings base in Royston, Hertfordshire.

The ceremony took place downstairs in front of 60 friends and family followed by celebratory drinks and photos.

We had a mobile pay bar set up at the venue making wide selection of drinks available to guests throughout the day.

The bride and groom chose a buffet wedding breakfast which was enjoyed by all. It included a feast of seafood, meats, salads, vegetables, tarts and new potatoes. This was followed by desserts including Eton Mess, Profiteroles and a full cheeseboard.

The best man was anxious to get on with speeches as soon as possible but he had to wait until after the food, when toasts were to be made. Out of the norm the groom’s mother made a speech along with the bride’s father, groom and best man.

After this the lemon drizzle cake which was made by the family was cut and it was served with tea and coffee.

Evening guests joined the party when the tables were cleared away and a disco started.

Before departing the bride and groom released a Chinese lantern into the sky, as a newly married coupe. This rounded off a wonderful occasion.
